Bean to Bar チョコレートを製造・販売するダンデライオン・チョコレートが厳選したカカオ豆に、アクセントとして唐辛子を少し漬け込みました。出来上がったビールはモルト由来の焙煎香に、ほのかなカカオの香りとロースト感があいまった豊かな香り。口に含めばカカオ由来の酸味や苦味が感じられ、あとから僅かに唐辛子のピリッとした辛味が追いかけてきます。
350ml缶は窒素ガス充填を行ったナイトロ缶仕様。軽く振ってから勢いよくグラスに注ぐことで、クリーミーな泡を楽しめます。
The beer is a collaboration with Dandelion Chocolate, brewed with cacao and chili peppers. Dandelion Chocolate, founded in San Francisco in 2010, is a Bean-to-Bar chocolate maker. They procure high-quality cacao beans directly from producers and craft chocolates to bring out the unique flavors of each bean.Although belonging to different genres, chocolate and beer share similarities in craftsmanship, both pursuing uncompromising quality from selection to production.
We used "Maya Mountain, Belize" cacao husk for its fruity acidity and tangy strawberry notes. We added cocoa nibs and soaked a bit of "Trinidad Scorpion Butch Taylor," one of the world's spiciest peppers.
The finished beer has a rich aroma with malt-derived roasted scent, subtle cacao notes, and roasted flavor, followed by slight tingling spiciness from the chili peppers. Enjoyable on its own or paired with a meal, it's a versatile drink for any occasion.
