本来はラガー酵母（下面発酵酵母）で造られるメルツェンを、エール酵母（上面発酵酵母）を使って発酵させました。
言わば、ラガーとエールのハイブリッド。長期低温熟成を経て、トーストしたパンのようなモルトの甘みとホップの苦味が調和したビールです。
アルコール度数は5.5%、どんな食事とも相性の良い、バランスの取れた仕上がりになっています。
