ベースとなるビアスタイルは、セゾン。このセゾンに、奈良の茶処・月ヶ瀬にあるティーファーム井ノ倉さんの茶葉、それも碾茶（てんちゃ）を贅沢に漬け込み、茶葉特有の味わいを重ねました。碾茶、聞き慣れない言葉かもしれません。一言で言えば、石臼で抹茶に挽く前の状態の茶葉のこと。独特の香り・旨味が強く、苦味・渋味が少ないことが特徴となっています。
見た目はお茶由来の薄濁り、香りはセゾン酵母由来のフルーティさが感じられます。ドライな飲み口の中に旨味を伴ったほのかな緑茶の風味が感じられ、爽やかな余韻として残ります。
ホップとは違ったお茶由来の苦味もこのビールに複雑さを重ねていて、セゾンの味わいにさらに奥行きが加わっています。少し液温を上げてから飲むと、よりお茶の輪郭がくっきりと感じられるようになってくるでしょう。

This time's beer is supported by Tea Farm Inokura, which has been in Tsukigase, Nara for more than 260 years, and provided us the green tea leaves that first flush in this season. The base beer style is Saison. The characteristic is dry and drinkable, also beer that is both simple and complex, with the fruitiness aroma that comes from the Belgian yeast. It looks a little bit hazy because of the tea leaves pitching, and when you tilt the glass, you can feel aroma like fruit from Saison yeast. Also you can enjoy a faint green tea flavor, and leaves a long finish. The bitterness derived from tea leaves, which are different from hops, add complexity to this beer, adding layer to the taste.
