アルコール度数が3.5％のアメリカンIPA。度数は低めながらも、ホップの香りや苦みをしっかりと感じられる味わいに仕上げました。通常の低アルコールビールは麦芽の使用量を減らすことで度数を抑えることが多いですが、麦芽の使用量を大きく変えずに度数だけを下げる試みを行いました。メインで使用したホップは柑橘の味わいが爽やかなSimcoeとCentennial。これに、AzaccaとAmalirroをドライホップすることでトロピカルな味わいを重ねています。色んな方に、気兼ねなく楽しんで欲しい一杯です。

2020年に樽のみでリリースした「MICROCOSMOS」。2023年には、過去のIPAをリミックスする取り組みのひとつとして、アルコール度数5.5%の「MACROCOSMOS」をリリースしました。そのときの、元になったビールを飲んでみたい！という声に応えて、今回350ml缶も一緒にリリースです！

If someone says this IPA as "just another IPA," that would be a compliment. This Micro IPA, with an alcohol content of 3.5%, is perfect for those who aren't strong drinkers but want to enjoy a variety of beers. Unlike the typical American IPA, which has an alcohol content of 6.3% to 7.5%, this beer offers a full flavor with a lower alcohol content.

The brewing method for "Microcosmos" has been adjusted to lower the alcohol content significantly while maintaining the same amount of malt used in traditional IPAs. The result is a Micro IPA that retains the malt flavor, hop aroma, and bitterness, all with only 3.5% alcohol. The main hops used are Simcoe and Centennial, which provide a refreshing citrus flavor, while Azacca and Amarillo are used for dry hopping to add a tropical note.

"Microcosmos" was first released in 2020. In 2023, we released "Macrocosmos" as part of a series that remixes past IPA recipes, and many people expressed their desire to see the original "Microcosmos" again.
